I have read first The Law of Nines, and now The First Confessor after the Sword of Truth series, and it seems pretty obvious to me that the only main characters Terry can come up with are Richard and Kahlan. more I am a huge Sword of Truth fan, but Terry's writing has really been getting to me. I am definitely looking forward to others in the series. Otherwise, the book filled in a lot of gaps in the sword of truth series, and gave a lot of background that adds nicely to the overall picture. I will not purchase any further books read by this person, because I would fear that they are just as poorly edited. I topped counting when I hit double digits for the number of mistakes in the book, (and that was just in the first half of the book). The only thing that blunted my enjoyment was that I listened to the audible version of the book, and whoever handled the editing of the audio did an absolutely terrible job of editing and monitoring the recording.
Review 1: Very nice addition to the sword of truth series.
